Scarlett Johansson Goes Blond And Drops The Cleavage For Dolce & GabbanaIf there’s one constant when it comes to Scarlett Johansson, it’s that she looks like her really, really hot old self in Dolce & Gabbana advertisements… and thank the lord for that. Here she is looking like a blond bombshell and busting out her infamous cleavage in D&G’s newest ad for their lipstick line. Now I don’t want to sound like I’m complaining, because the super hot cleavage popping blond version of Scarlett Johansson is a rarity these days, but seriously, she looks a little too airbrushed in this shot. Hell, she looks more like a CG effect than an actual person. Albeit, a really, really hot cleavage popping CG effect. |

Claim of Blake Lively Naked in Playboy Is FabricatedContrary to the circulating rumor, Blake Lively won’t be shedding her clothes for Playboy magazine. A representative for the Serena van der Woodsen of “Gossip Girl” star has thrown cold water to the so-called “100% fabricated” story. As quoted by Gossip Cop, the rep stated, “Nothing about that is true. There’s not one ounce of truth to it.” In the denial, Lively’ representative unraveled that National Enquirer, the tabloid running the baring all story in the first place, knew it was a false one but chose to publish it anyway. The rep furthermore insisted that the 22-year-old’s cover shot for the February issue of Esquire magazine “is the sexiest you are going to see her.” |
Unbelievable Photographs Of MarsMars is the fourth planet from our Sun in the Solar System. Out of the various planets and moons in our Solar System, Mars perhaps bears the most similarity to Earth, featuring an atmosphere, polar ice caps, and remnants of tectonic activity on the planet’s surface. Mars has fascinated both astronomers and the general public for years, and has been the subject of countless movies and fiction works. Currently, several nations in the world are planning to send missions to Mars for exploration, and NASA’s Spirit Rover recently ended a 6 year exploration of the surface after becoming trapped in sand. |

Mazda Miata Flips At High SpeedWhile racing, a fully built Mazda Miata flipped and wrecked during a high speed lap.The driver survived and is okay thanks to the Miata special design. This clip really gets you into the action of the flip, and is recorded from start to finish. While the Miata was still on the track, the driver was doing a decent job of keeping speeds high through corners. The last corner got messy, and ended up slinging the car into the ditch. Racing is like rolling the dice, you never know what's going to happen. |
Comet’s 10 Million-Mile Tail Lights Up in InfraredNASA’s new infrared telescope has released its first images. The Wide-Field Infrared Survey Explorer has returned more than 250,000 raw images. To celebrate its performance thus far, NASA selected four of them for processing and publication. Above, you can see the comet, Siding Spring, which was discovered in 2007 by Australian observers. Its 10 million-mile-long tail is made of glowing dust pushed away from its nucleus by the solar wind. WISE launched on Dec. 14, 2009 and took in its first starlight at the end of the month. The telescope is intended to survey the entire sky looking for cosmic oddities. The mission will also provide better data on the average size of asteroids in the solar system, which will refine scientists’ estimates of how often a dangerous near-Earth object hits the Earth. |
Viva Los Hoons! Jalopnik Reader Buys Mexican Focus RSRemember the lime green 2010 Ford Focus RS for sale in Mexico? One of our readers bought it and will be importing it to the US. To say we're jealous would be like saying the sun's warm. Complete story below. Our new best friend who should totally let us go for a drive when he gets the car legalized wishes to remain anonymous, but he was kind enough to provide full details about how he was able to purchase a not-for-US Import Focus RS and exactly what kind of car lunatic he is. |
How Wind Turbines Make Their Own CloudsThey are billed as vast sentinels that will protect our world from climate change. But, at the same time, these wind turbines are creating a new little climate of their own. The 196ft structures whipped up the sea mist which blankets them in this photograph. The phenomenon is caused by the spinning 130ft blades which churn up the warm air at sea. level and mix it with cooler air above at Scroby Sands, near Great Yarmouth in Norfolk. When this happens, the water begins condensing as droplets which become visible. Retired garage owner Mike Page, 70, of Strumpshaw, Norfolk, who captured the scene from his Cessna 150 light aircraft, said: 'The spinning blades whip moisture into the air like giant egg mixers. A close up of one of the turbines shows a swirl of mist created around the blades as cooler air is mixed with warmer air 'It definitely occurs several times a year, sometimes gathering upwind of the turbines and sometimes downwind depending on the conditions. |
