CELEBRITIES & MODELS PHOTOGRAPHY & EYE CANDY

Megan Fox Found on the Front Page of W

I have been wondering what Megan Fox was up to ever since her quirky "I'm naked in a bathtub" Superbowl commercial. Obviously she has been spending her free time just being hot. W Magazine needed an injection of ridiculous-hotness, so it's not surprise Megan is featured in it. On the cover it says that Megan had a high fashion moment. I'm not sure what that means. But I really, really hope that nudity is in this spring season. Hilarious commentary aside, Megan looks gorgeous in the W Magazine photos... although in some I think she forgot to put on a bra. I'll have to write her a letter and remind her.

Precariously Perched

A semi truck that collided with a car hung off the edge of a bridge at the Muncie Bypass and State Road 67 near Muncie, Ind., Wednesday. The Star Press reported that the car driver was seriously injured, while the truck driver was able to safely climb from the cab.

Britney Spears is Hot? No F'ing Way!

I refuse to believe that these are actually pictures of Britney Spears, because if it was her, that would mean Britney Spears is hot, and that goes against every law of the known Universe. No, this is either special effects, Photoshop, a spell cast by the most powerful warlock, or just some strange dream, but there is no way that Britney Spears is actually hot. We should sue Candies for false advertising.

Afghanistan: Six Days of the NATO Offensive

U.S. and Afghan forces have taken control of the main roads, bridges and government centers of the Taliban haven of Marjah, the top Marine commander in southern Afghanistan said Thursday, though he added that pockets of insurgents remain. "I'd say we control the spine" of the town, Brig. Gen. Larry Nicholson told The Associated Press as he inspected the Marines' front line in the north of the town. "We're where we want to be." After six days of a massive NATO offensive, Marines and their Afghan counterparts succeeded in their initial military objectives, he said: They now control all access points into town, the government centers and the main markets, and the key roads that crisscross the 80-square-mile area. As Nicholson spoke, bursts of heavy machine gunfire in the near distance highlighted that insurgents still hold terrain less than a mile away.

PLANES, TRAINS & AUTOMOBILES TECHNOLOGY & OTHER NEAT STUFF

The New Mercedes-Benz Museum

If you are planning a trip to Stuttgart, Germany then it is a must to visit Porsche museum and the recently opened new Mercedes-Benz museum. New Mercedes-Benz museum has over 160 vehicles and 1,500 exhibits on display. First exhibits date back to 1886 and the newest model on display is the all-new SLS AMG that will hit dealerships this spring. Visitors will start their journey from the uppermost level(there are 9 levels) where two museum tours gradually spiral their way down through the extensive collection and back to the museum exit.

Tasteless and Pointless Inflatables

Although the sight of an inflatable will most likely give way to fond memories of beach vacations and sexual relief, few realize that they can also serve a myriad of other purposes. They can point out nerds, exploit a tragedy, waist natural resources and terrorize your town in the form of a giant rolling turd. Next time you throw a party or go to a sporting event, dispense with the traditional beach ball and consider employing one of these 10 baffling inflatables instead.

Ferrari Owner's Dream Garage Grinds Neighbors' Gears

His pristine Ferrari 512 BBi "Boxer" sits in the middle of Holger Schubert's living room in Brentwood, right next to stylish furniture, a built-in bookcase and a flat-screen TV that slides on tracks past walls of glass that frame an ocean view. But Los Angeles officials are about to slam shut forever the garage door that leads to the city's most extravagant parking space. City planners have withdrawn permission for Schubert to use a bridge to connect his Ferrari's third-floor resting spot with North Tigertail Road. The ruling by the West Los Angeles Area Planning Commission tosses a mechanic's wrench into Schubert's hopes of using the showpiece garage that last year won Architectural Digest magazine's Design Driven contest.

Crayon Rocket Pack

Since a friend pointed out that my I-ROC looked like a CrayonŽ, I've had the idea in back of my mind to build a Crayon rocket. Not just a Crayon rocket, but a pack of Crayon rockets! The smallest pack of Crayons I could find had eight, so that is the number. Of course, the eight rockets are pretty much standard mid-power rockets. But, they were to be launched from a box (the yellow and green Crayon box, of course) in rapid succession. I decided to build the kit from Loc/Precision components, since they have a nice selection listed on their site, including pre-slotted airframe tubing, which will save a lot of work. Note that this project suffered a long hiatus. I actually started it in 1998, and it was one of my first scratchbuilding projects. Work resumed in August 2004, more than six years later and finally completed in September, just in time for XPRS.
