Miranda Kerr Drops Some Supermodel CleavageThose CDFA things were held the other night, they’re fashion awards or something, so all kinds of the world’s most beautiful women were invited to come along. Here’s Miranda Kerr and her supermodel new mommy breasts all tarted up in a dress perfectly suited for someone as spectacular as she is. Not many women can pull off a tight evening gown with holes in various locations like Miranda can. But then again, not many women are as perfect as she is either. Heavenly. |

A Gallery of Abandoned Drive-In Movie TheatersThe first drive-in movie theater opened in Camden, New Jersey in 1933, and 70 years later the abandoned drive-in movie theaters severely outnumber the drive-ins that are still operational. Movie theaters are more popular than ever, but for some reason drive-in movie theaters just didn’t fit the bill for moviegoers. It’s tough to figure out exactly why the drive-in movie theater failed. They’re convenient and comfortable, it requires very little overhead cost (all you need is a screen, a projector, a snack bar, and a field), and the biggest downside is that it’s easy to throw your smallest friend in the trunk and get him in for free. Nonetheless, drive-in movie theaters are now a thing of the past, and we have the photos to prove it. |

Bertone Jaguar B99 GT ConceptRobert Louis Stevenson's "Dr Jeckyll and My Hyde" novel helps us all understand how great paradoxes can coexist inside the human soul. Jaguar has thrived on such a powerful duality for decades, combining the subtleties of exclusive luxury cars perfectly suited to red carpet evenings and the predator-like brute force of the full race cars perfectly suited to 24 hour race track punishment. For this reason Bertone has decided to transform the elegant B99 luxury sedan into a GT race track monster. The carryover components of the original sedan (front doors, greenhouse, hood and trunk) are very obvious but the 2.5 meter wide body leaves no doubt, the race version is just as wild as every Jaguar in the jungle, ready to eat the competition alive. The overall height car has been lowered 100mm compared to the street version, and has been given a mere 50mm ground clearance along with a perfectly flat belly for aerodynamic efficiency. The Pirelli PZero race tires are 325/30/19. The giant front spoiler pulls in the cooling air while the giant rear extractor returns it. The side spoilers are filled with giant exhaust side pipes. The rear spoiler is a traditional bi-level race spoiler. The interior has been completely emptied and filled with a safety roll cage, a full race drivers seat and a few minimalist instruments. The graphics are in bright fluorescent green in contrast with the silver body and the carbon fiber aerodynamics components. |

Audi R8 Hyper Black Edition by Anderson GermanyAnderson Germany has unveiled the new Audi R8 Hyper Black Edition. Described as a road-going UFO, the HBE features a carbon fiber body kit with a front lip spoiler, an aggressive rear diffuser, and a massive rear wing. Elsewhere, there's tinted windows, smoked tail lights, orange brake calipers, and 19-inch alloy wheels with carbon fiber accents. Last but not least, the car is painted an exclusive color which has unsurprisingly been called Hyper Black. Inside, the carbon fiber theme continues as the lightweight material is applied to virtually everything including the handbrake, door panels, center console, and steering wheel. Additionally, there are leather seats, Alcantara accents, and numerous orange highlights. To give the car a little extra oomph, the tuner installed a high-flow air filter, a revised ECU, and a sport exhaust system with remote-controlled sound control valves. Thanks to these modifications, the 5.2-liter V10 engine produces 589 PS (433 kW / 581 hp) - an increase of 64 PS (47 kW / 63 hp). |
Authorities in Awe of Drug Runners' Jungle-Built, Kevlar-Coated SupersubsThe clatter of helicopter blades echoed across the jungles of northwestern Ecuador. Antinarcotics commandos in three choppers peered at the mangroves below, scanning for any sign of activity. The police had received a tip that a gang of Colombian drug smugglers had set up a clandestine work site here, in a dense swamp 5 miles south of Colombia’s border. And whatever the traffickers were building, the tipster had warned, was truly enormous. For decades, Colombian drug runners have pursued their trade with diabolical ingenuity, staying a step ahead of authorities by coming up with one innovation after another. When false-paneled pickups and tractor-trailers began drawing suspicion at US checkpoints, the cartels and their Mexican partners built air-conditioned tunnels under the border. When border agents started rounding up too many human mules, one group of Colombian smugglers surgically implanted heroin into purebred puppies. But the drug runners’ most persistently effective method has also been one of the crudest—semisubmersible vessels that cruise or are towed just below the ocean’s surface and can hold a ton or more of cocaine. |
