That big old booty of hers should have a star on the Walk Of Fame, I’d go visit it, take a few pictures of myself and her giant ass print. Awesome.

olafur eliasson's highly anticipated new installation 'your rainbow panorama' is now complete. set to open on may 28th, the permanent elevated structure provides a 360º view of the city of århus, denmark. suspended between the city and the sky, the viewing platform insists on the sensory engagement of those who enter it. as designboom previously reported here and here, the continuously circular pathway sits on top of and proportionality compliments the ARoS museum of art, designed by schmidt hammer lassen in 2007. measuring 150 meters around, the transparent glass unit is designed to act as a visual compass for the city, its colors marking the physical location of each visitor.

Chevy Camaro ZL1 Coming With 570 Horsepower?

We all know the muscular Chevy Camaro ZL1's getting the same LSA V8 found in the CTS-V, but while that engine puts out 556 horsepower in the Caddy there are fresh rumors stating the ZL1 will be north of 570 horsepower. This new top-of-the-line Camaro is expected to slot in between the 426 horsepower SS and the 638 horsepower Corvette ZR1, giving the ZL1 a lot of daylight. Putting itself at above 570 horsepower, as LSXTV is reporting, means GM will suddenly have an impressive variety of vehicles in the 550+ horsepower range and something to tussle with the Ford Mustang GT500.

In the early years of the Iraq war, the U.S. military developed a technology so secret that soldiers would refuse to acknowledge its existence, and reporters mentioning the gear were promptly escorted out of the country. That equipment – a radio-frequency jammer – was upgraded several times, and eventually robbed the Iraq insurgency of its most potent weapon, the remote-controlled bomb. But the dark veil surrounding the jammers remained largely intact, even after the Pentagon bought more than 50,000 units at a cost of over $17 billion.

It’s the second-generation Porsche Cayman, caught by our spies while on test at the Nürburgring; it’ll be on sale in the UK by the end of 2012. Not quite, as it’s an all-new model – albeit one that shares a lot of DNA with the new 981 Boxster and 991 911. However, Porsche is determined to spread its offerings over a much wider range of market segments, so differentiation is the new name of the game, not standardisation and simplification. Items like bespoke doors will now help you tell the mid-engined cars apart from the rear-engined icon, and Stuttgart’s designers have made further effort to differentiate all three. Inside expect a heavy Cayenne/Panamera influence, with a rising transmission tunnel.

From 72 Recycled Beer Cans Comes a Sweet Surfboard

In March, I wrote about a very cool project making surfboards from ocean trash. Now, here's another original way to ride the waves: on a surfboard made from 72 recycled beer cans. The simply named Beer Can Surfboard is the work of San Diego-based artist Rich Morrison. What began as a sculpture to complement his Enviro Surf Art Series soon became more ambitious: Morrison has made what is most likely the first ever functioning surfboard made of beer cans. Morrison collected uncrushed cans from a local bar (Budweiser, Modelo, PBR, Rolling Rock and Boddingtons Pub Ale, if you're wondering), and built them into a board with the help of surfboard maker Gary Seagraves.
