Kate Middleton & Prince William Hit Wimbledon

These were snapped earlier today as the newly wed royal couple hit Wimbledon to watch Andy Murray take on Richard Gasquet of France. Andy Murray didn't disaapoint as he advanced to the quarterfinals following three sets of action.

Karlu Karlu - The Devil’s Marbles

It has been a sacred site for thousands of years known to the Kaytetye aboriginal people of Australia as Karlu Karlu and is known as such in four local languages. When first seen by Europeans in the nineteenth century, however, it was not long before the place had been given a new name – The Devil’s Marbles. Many of the ‘marbles’ are poised, almost at tipping point it seems and with spectacular visible effect. An inscrutable, unfathomable place of awe-inspiring picturesque splendor, the seemingly unsteady heaps of colossal granite boulders, dazzling open skies and eye-piercing sunlight create an impression which is quite unforgettable.

JWoWW’s Breasts Look Bigger These Days

Obviously we haven’t seen JWoWW in a while, but it looks like she’s lost quite a bit of weight. Well done. Here she is in Italy actually looking pretty good. Look at those abs, she didn’t have those before did she? I like it, it makes her big fake breasts look even bigger, and that’s all that I really care about with this one. Her busted up face is a complete write off, so slimming down the body was a good idea… So was wearing some giant cover all sunglasses. I like it.

Chinese Transformers Fan Builds His Own Army of Robots

All geeks love Transformers, but Yang Junlin of Huizhou, China, took his passion for the franchise to a whole other level when he opened the “Legend of Iron” factory and began producing his own robots. Remebre that uber-cool Megatron Tank we featured a few weeks back? That was one of Yang Junlin’s iron masterpieces, but I had no idea he had created hundreds of other incredible metal sculptures. In 2006, after retiring from the army, Yang went to a concert where various steel sculptures were placed on display. Some of them were simple human figures created from twisted metal wire, but they made such an impression on him, that he decided to try and make his own steel works.

Tesla Roadster Hits End of the Road

Want a high-end electric sports car? Better move fast — Tesla’s wrapping up production of the Roadster to focus on building the Model S sedan. We told you this was coming more than a year ago when Tesla was preparing for its initial public offering. Lotus, which builds the rolling chassis for the Roadster, is retooling its assembly line, leaving Tesla with nowhere to build the car. The company decided it was wiser to focus on the Model S instead of lining up a new supplier. The Silicon Valley automaker will stop taking Tesla Roadster orders within two months. Tesla’s sold most of its stock in the United States and has “only a handful” left. The inventory’s a little bigger in Europe. “People in Europe and Japan probably have another six months to place orders for the Roadster,” CEO Elon Musk told The San Francisco Chronicle. “In the U.S., it’s maybe a month or two.” When the line in Hethel, England finally creaks to a stop, Tesla will have built 2,500 Roadsters since 2008. Nissan’s sold about that many Nissan Leaf electric vehicles since December.

Could A Layperson Land A Jumbo Jet?

Possibly, but only with a lot of luck and some autopilot assistance. Amateurs have landed smaller private planes after the pilot became incapacitated, but outside of 1970s disaster movies, it has never happened with a commercial passenger aircraft. Simply getting to the controls is going to be very difficult. After 9/11, all commercial aircraft have secure cockpit doors designed to prevent anyone from entering during a flight. If you did manage to get inside and get in touch with a control tower or, more likely, the radar room (the control tower takes over only after an airplane is within 10 miles of landing), it’s crucial that there be a pilot on hand who has flown that specific type of plane (or someone else very familiar with it) to give instructions. In most cases, the controller in the tower would instruct you to input basic adjustments to altitude, airspeed and direction into the aircraft’s autopilot system.
