Gwyneth Paltrow Hard Body Bikini Pics of the DayHere are some pictures of Steven Spielberg following his god daughter Gwyneth Paltrow around in the bikini, clearly for masturbation purposese later in the night, cuz that’s what people who like following their god daughters around in bikini with a video camera are usually doing….it is generally not because he’s practicing his filmaking, you know that excuse doesn’t work when you’ve a billionaire filmmaker. |
Horrifying Examples of Natural Disaster PhotographyOver the recent years, I have posted various types of photography on my blog from high-speed photography to the fabulous technique of wave photography. But none of those techniques are as challenging as what I am about to share today. Since the past decade, we have seen a massive increase in natural disasters including earthquakes, floods, hurricanes and storms. However, capturing the distressing moments and terrified emotions associated with natural calamities is known as “Natural Disaster Photography”. Natural disasters occur all over the place and demonstrate nature’s fury and rage on mankind. Many people attribute this changing environmental trend to global warming. To capture the terrifying and heartbreaking scenes of natural disasters is a challenging and courageous job for photographers as they put their lives in jeopardy. |
Avril Lavigne Hooks Up With Ex-Hubby Deryck Whibley in St. TropezAnd, who can blame him, right? I know we make fun of Ave a lot of on here, but when it comes to no-strings-attached makeup sex, we can't really fault the former Sum 41 lead singer Deryck Whibley for potentially sex'ing up his old wifie. He knows exactly which buttons to push & Avril knows it, so why not jump back on for another joyride? I'm sure if they did hookup over the weekend, it was mutual. These were snapped over the weekend as the two were spotted together with friends on a yacht from South Hampton, NY moored off the coast of ultra-exclusive Saint Troprez, France. |
Wrangler's New Action-Packed CampaignWrangler sure knows how to grab our attention! For their Spring/Summer 2011 campaign (and as an extension of their We are Animals overarching tagline), they're back with 'Stunt,' an action-packed, adrenaline-fuelled series that brings real-life Hollywood stunt people to the forefront. Watch as these daredevils perform stunts we're only used to seeing in movies. Shattered glass, burning cars, and even dripping blood are all captured by US-based photographer Cass Bird and crew. These incredible shot were taken on the fake New York streets of Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. "The 'Stunt' campaign pushes Wrangler's thrill-loving brand persona to the max, and tests the limits of what is possible in advertising," Wrangler says. |

American Car Enthusiast Electrifies Chevrolet Corvette For A Zero-emission RideThe latest fad among car freaks is to convert their vehicles from gas driven to electric vehicles (EV), and, thus, bring the electric bug effect to the fore. Wayne Bickley from San Bernadino, California, United States, has converted a black Chevrolet Corvette coupe, 1996 into an all-electric one that ensures a zero-emission ride while it’s on the move. Bickley owned a black Chevrolet Corvette coupe, 1996 model that was quite a machine till he suddenly decided to give it a makeover. The first step towards converting the Chevy into an electric vehicle began with the removal of the corvette’s supercharged 396 engine. The car was then fitted with high-powered batteries. The other features that were added on to the vehicle include a DC electric motor and a ZF6 constant-mesh, six-speed manual transmission. Bickley’s main intention was to drive an environmentally friendly vehicle and avoid queuing up for California’s strict vehicle emission tests. Bickley’s efforts at converting his Chevrolet Corvette resulted in a smart sleek black machine that can do more than 85 miles per hour. |
How To Make Your Own Prison WineI don’t plan on going to prison any time soon, but if I do somehow end up there I’d at least like to be prepared. I’d imagine that a day in the life as a new prisoner can be quite stressful, and what better way is there to relax after a long day of making license plates and trying not to get shanked than with a nice glass of wine? Since prisons ban all alcoholic beverages however many inmates have taken to making their own wine, or “pruno” as it’s often called. There are plenty of different pruno recipes out there, but I decided to use the most popular one, which is attributed to a man named Jarvis Masters, who is currently on death row at San Quentin State Prison. Making prison wine is actually surprisingly easy, and all you really need is a one gallon plastic bag, ten oranges, eight ounces of fruit cocktail, some sugar cubes, six teaspoons of ketchup and a towel. |
Speedy Eurocopter X3 Performs in ParisThe speedy new X3 helicopter made its public debut this week at the Paris Air Show, flying a demonstration routine in front of the aerospace industry crowd. Developed by Eurocopter, the X3 (pronounced ‘x-cubed’) has already flown more than 260 miles per hour, though the company says extreme top speed is not the only goal. Unlike Sikorsky’s X2 helicopter, which is an entirely new design, the X3 is built around an existing airframe. Starting with its Dauphin helicopter, Eurocopter removed the tail rotor and added a pair of propellers mounted on short wings. These propellers are used to counter the torque of the main rotor like a tail rotor, and are also used to provide thrust to push the X3 beyond typical helicopter speeds. The new helicopter uses twin engines like the standard Dauphin, but the engines are much more powerful and are used to power both the side propellers and main rotor. Eurocopter CEO Lutz Bertling said in a statement the hybrid design will not only be fast, but it will also be affordable to customers. |
Before Today's Maglevs, There was NBC's Atomic SupertrainWe posted about the Superbus earlier today, and while poking around for more info, we discovered that back in 1979, NBC had Supertrain, which is just a whole new level of craziness. Imagine a giant train, powered by a nuclear reactor, driven by the cast of Love Boat. What could possibly go wrong? In the TV show, Supertrain was so wide that it needed its own special set of rails. It could travel from New York to Los Angeles in 36 hours using its "atomic engine," and housed a hospital, a swimming pool, a piano bar, a movie theater, a disco, and a gift shop. In reality, NBC (which happens to be DVICE's parent company through the Syfy channel) spent $5 million on a full-scale Supertrain set, as well as building several different fully functional scale models of Supertrain. Say what you will about the show, but the models were sweet: |
