AnnaLynne McCord Gets Back in Her Bikini For 90210AnnaLynne McCord wore a retro bikini to shoot scenes for 90210 on the beach in LA yesterday. After a few months off from filming, AnnaLynne is back to work on the CW drama, though the characters are no longer high school students after graduation at the end of last season. In the cliffhanger-filled finale, AnnaLynne's Naomi revealed that she is pregnant, though there's no sign of a baby bump yet in this revealing two-piece. AnnaLynne spent her hiatus hanging out with on-again boyfriend Kellan Lutz and he even accompanied her to NYC for the upfronts while she attended his brother's wedding in May. Kellan will be hitting the promotional road for Immortals soon, starting with Comic-Con next week, and she'll be back on the small screen when 90210 premieres . |

Kelly Brook Bikini Pictures For the Candidly Stellar ComebackLike a star returning to the heavens after some inexplicable absence, Kelly Brook in full bikini awesomeness is back. It was one year ago that we did a delightful retrospective on Kelly Brook from her Survival Island bikini and topless pictures. And I'm going to say she's getting even hotter with age, and despite what she's been through, just an epic beauty for whom the inventors of the bikini could have only ever wished to someday see modeling their creation. These candid pictures of Kelly Brook on vacation in Italy are most certainly testament to her stellar sextastic. |
Amazing Reflection Photography ExamplesReflection plays an important role in Photography. It can be a reflection of objects such as water, glass and metal and has different values of exposure based on the lighting and the reflector in the scene. There is no doubt that reflection adds a great value to the image instead of the normal images without reflection. The reflection on a photograph gives a deep idea. It can turn from just a simple photo to a conceptual idea if the photographer can take the suitable shot for the reflection especially, when it is very clear and sharp that you could even tell it was initially part of the photo not just a side element. Our collection today showcases amazing reflection photographs ideas and examples that show great talents of using the reflection in images. |

Aston Martin V12 Zagato RacecarAston Martin is putting the final touches to its race preparations in readiness for the toughest 24 hour race of them all - the annual ADAC Nürburgring 24 Hours on 25 and 26 June, 2011 where a brace of new Aston Martin V12 Zagatos will compete. This weekend marks the next step of an ambitious project which began when the Aston Martin V12 Zagato was unveiled at the Concorso D'Eleganza at Villa D'Este in May 2011, winning the Design award for Concepts and Prototypes. The show car was then transformed into the number 3 race car, nicknamed 'Zag' (red) and will be piloted in the 24 hour race by Aston Martin CEO, Dr. Ulrich Bez, the company's Nürburgring Test Centre Director, Wolfgang Schuhbauer and automotive journalists Horst von Saurma and Matthew Marsh. |
Gigantic Wave Energy Generator Destined For Scottish CoastThe ocean is a big place. And if you're going to steal a bunch of electricity from it, you'll need a big generator. A brand spankin' new Oyster 800 wave energy generator was just completed in Scotland, and this massive 85-foot-long beast will soon be cranking out hundreds of kilowatts of power from non-stop wave action. Aquamarine Power's Oyster wave energy generators may be huge, but they're very simple in operation. There are two offshore parts to the generator, which together get sunk in 30 feet of water a couple hundred yards out to sea. A rigid frame is bolted to the seafloor, while a big float on hinges pivots back and forth in the waves, pumping compressed sea water to a hydroelectric power station on shore as it does so. The system is simple and reliable, and a prototype has clocked in over 6,000 hours of operation. This new one they just finished is much bigger, and delivers 250% more power at 30% of the cost of the original. |
Porsche LMP1 Entry Could be a Hybrid Admits Motorsports BossCommenting in a release issued by Porsche on its return to the top-tier of sports car racing and the future of the program, Kristen said that, “the integration of our hybrid technology in the vehicle concept is one possible option.” Kristen is cautions, however, admitting that the entire plan would rely on exactly what the rules allow, but you can be certain Porsche is already lobbying the sport’s governing body. Currently the LMP1 class is dominated by Audi’s R18 diesel race cars, with the only serious rivals coming from Peugeot with diesel technology as well. The reason for their success is fuel economy, with the diesels taking fewer pit stops to refuel. Porsche has already proven with its GT3 R Hybrid race car that it can achieve similar success using hybrid technology, taking the overall win in round four of the Nürburgring Long Distance Championship by requiring one fewer pit stop than the rest of the field. the GT3 R Hybrid uses a modified version of the original GT3 R hybrid powertrain, making 470-hp from a naturally aspirated six-cylinder boxer engine, with an additional 200-hp of electric boost available on demand. |
How Ethernet Went From 3 Mbps to 100 Gbps ... and BeyondAlthough watching TV shows from the 1970s suggests otherwise, the era wasn’t completely devoid of all things resembling modern communication systems. Sure, the 50 Kbps modems that the ARPANET ran on were the size of refrigerators, and the widely used Bell 103 modems only transferred 300 bits per second. But long distance digital communication was common enough, relative to the number of computers deployed. Terminals could also be hooked up to mainframe and minicomputers over relatively short distances with simple serial lines or with more complex multidrop systems. This was all well known; what was new in the ’70s was the local area network (LAN). But how to connect all these machines? |
