George Clooney Is Up In This NowLess than a month after dumping his girlfriend of two years, Elisabetta Canalis, because she thought the word "marriage" out loud, George Clooney is now banging Stacy Keibler. Of course he is. Life & Style reports: Life & Style can exclusively reveal that George has been getting cozy with former WWE star and Dancing With the Stars contestant Stacy Keibler. An insider tells Life & Style that Stacy recently flew to Italy to spend time with George at his villa in Lake Como. "I'm in heaven," Stacy tweeted about her trip. Though they seem to be an unlikely pair, George and Stacy have been acquaintances for some time and were set up by a mutual friend, the insider reveals. "They have a lot of friends in common and run in the same circles," another pal tells the magazine, on newsstands now. But Stacy -- who split with her longtime boyfriend, 7th Heaven star Geoff Stults, a year ago -- isn't looking for a commitment, which suits George just fine. "He's enjoying spending time with Stacy, but he just got out of a two-year relationship," says the insider. "George isn't ready for anything serious. This fling is purely for fun." |
Rival Rattlesnakes Locked In CombatMating season causes some strange behavior in many species, but one of the most curious to be affected is the rattlesnake, which embarks on a series of combat “dances” or fights. Another interesting thing about rattlesnake mating is that the male will often follow the female around, caressing and rubbing against her to try and stimulate her... not so different from ourselves. |
Jenna Haze Bikini PicturesThese are two of my favorite things in the world coming together in a spectacular way, bikinis and pornstars just seem to go together so well. Here’s Jenna Haze jumping on the sexy bandwagon in some sultry Twitter bikini pictures. It’s about time. You would think that the pornstars would have jumped all over this kind of thing already. Better late than never. I think my favorite is the last shot of Jenna and her two porno hottie friends. See if you can guess who they are. |
Marcia’s Soo Line CabooseMarcia Weber lives full-time in a Soo Line train caboose that was built in 1909. She purchased the caboose with her husband at the Tunerville Station in Whippany, New Jersey in 1975 from an ad in the Wall Street Journal that simply said “wooden cabooses for sale.” For years, the caboose was just a vacation home for Marcia and her husband. After a divorce and a job loss, she decided to move permanently into the caboose. She said the first winter was tough with no indoor plumbing and only space heaters available for heat. Electricity had been installed in the caboose years before, but there was no bathroom. In the following years, Marcia was able to add a bathroom to the back of the caboose (to retain the look), indoor plumbing and electric heat. She also replaced the siding on the cupola and put in some gardens and a lawn. She also had a deck built which added an additional “room” to the caboose. |

Cadillac Ciel ConceptThe Cadillac Ciel Concept - pronounced "C-L," the French translation for sky - is a four-seat convertible that opens a new chapter in Cadillac's design and product ascent, pushing the brand's Art & Science philosophy into a new stratum. Ciel is a new expression of Cadillac's historical grandeur, as well as a celebration of open-air motoring. "Large, expressive luxury is innate to Cadillac and the Ciel recalls that heritage, while suggesting where the brand can go in the future," said Clay Dean, global design director for Cadillac. "Authentic luxury is driven by experiences, not just products, and Ciel is about the experience of the journey." The spacious and elegant Cadillac Ciel Concept is a grand gesture that explores themes driving Cadillac's explorations into range-topping flagship luxury. It is powered by a twin-turbocharged version of the 3.6-liter Direct Injection V-6 engine, paired with a hybrid system using lithium-ion battery technology. |
13-Year-Old Designs Super-Efficient Solar Array Based on the Fibonacci SequencePlenty of us head into the woods to find inspiration. Aidan Dwyer, 13, went to the woods and had a eureka moment that could be a major breakthrough in solar panel design. On a bleak winter hiking trip to the Catskill Mountains, the 7th-grader from New York noticed a pattern among tree branches, and determined (as naturalist Charles Bonnet did in 1754) that the pattern represented the Fibonacci sequence of numbers. Aidan wondered why, and figured it had something to do with photosynthesis. In a pretty innovative experiment, this intrepid young scientist set about duplicating an oak tree, comparing its sunlight-capturing abilities to a traditional rooftop solar panel array. Guess what he found? First he determined the ratios representing the spiral pattern of the leaves and branches on an oak tree, using a cylindrical double-protractor tool of his own design. Then he copied the pattern using a computer program, and built an oak tree-shaped solar array out of PVC pipe. He next built a flat-panel array mounted at 45 degrees, like a typical home rooftop array, and attached data loggers to each model to monitor voltage. |
Kia To Unveil Four-door Sports Sedan At 2011 Frankfurt Motor ShowThe title says it all really. Kia is going to unveil a four-door sports sedan at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show in September. Kia have gone the opposite way from most manufacturers when it comes to providing a teaser for an upcoming concept. Most of the time we get to see a vague, stylised image of the vehicle along with its name. Kia have opted to provide five hi-res images showing their concept from a variety of angles, but then decided to keep the name a secret. Kia’s four-door sports sedan concept is a good looking car by anyone’s standards. In fact from some angles it even has a touch of the Lamborghini Estoque about it – which isn’t bad for a budget South Korean brand! |
Virgin Galactic Eyes Passenger Connectivity For Space FlightsI can see it now. The tweets. The FaceBook updates. The miles high boasts. "I'm tweeting from space!!" Why? Because Virgin Galactic is looking to offer in-flight connectivity to passengers on its suborbital space tourism flights (they obviously won't need any seat-back entertainment for that ride). RWG has learned that Sir Richard Branson is studying his connectivity options for SpaceShipTwo. But what might he choose? If you're going up and back to space, the aircraft would effectively serve as the satellite. In other words, it won't need to talk to a satellite, but rather a great big ground dish (a steerable antenna) that's talking to the aircraft. Says a source: "The actual band used is X-band, which is in the gigahertz range. One of the big things of Ham Radio is you get a dish and bounce signals off spacecraft, or bounce them off the moon, so it's moon bounce communications." |
