CELEBRITIES & MODELS PHOTOGRAPHY & EYE CANDY

Jenny McCarthy’s Big Old Bikini Pictures

I don’t often have pictures of Jenny McCarthy on my site because, well because she hasn’t been relevant in something like fifteen years and nobody gives a crap about her or her quakery about vaccines causing autism. But on the rare occasion that I do have her on, I like to make sure her big old boobies are front and center. Here they are at the beach in Miami over the weekend in all their glory. She’s still pretty sexy, even if she is a complete moron.

Baatara Gorge – the Waterfall that Drops into a Cave

Only discovered in 1952 the Baatara Waterfall in Lebanon is something more than a little unusual. If waterfalls can be said to have a trick up their sleeve then this one has one of the best. The waterfall drops a staggering 837 feet (255 meters) in to an enormous cave of Jurassic limestone. Situated on the Lebanon Mountain Trail the abyss in to which the waterfall drops is also known as the Three Bridge Chasm. It gets this name because the journey in to the valley below takes in three naturally formed bridges, each rising above the one below.

Elisabetta Canalis Is Our Favorite to Win the New Season of DWTS

So last night the new cast of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ was announced, and while we’re still hoping that one day ABC will define the word “star” for us, it appears that at the very least we have a favorite contestant. We’re proud to say that here at F-Listed we’ve done our part at posting photos of Elisabetta Canalis, best known for being one of George Clooney’s former toys. Not to be confused with Nancy Grace who he may or may not have banged in the past. While we won’t necessarily watch the show and we have a feeling that Canalis will be gone before we even realize she’s there, we’ll admit that we finally have a reason to root for someone on this show. Although Ron Artest does come in a close second… ‘Dancing With the Deranged?’

Nature Conquers All In the End

Mankind maintains a complex relationship with the environment. Basically we see what we want and take it. Then when we are out of money, or it becomes inconvenient to keep it, we toss it away. Mother Nature is ticked. Nature is not a passive victim, but an active force. At the final resting place of this old fire truck, nature moves in for the kill. Nature laughs last.

Aussie Hypermilers Set Mileage Record

The Australian hypermilers we told you about earlier this month have completed their journey, breaking their previous record for highest fuel economy achieved in a drive through all 48 contiguous states. Arriving in Las Vegas after 22 days on the road and 9,552 miles traveled, professional hypermilers Helen and John Taylor of Melbourne, Australia managed an average of 64.42 mpg in a stock, unmodified 2012 Chevy Cruze Eco during the Shell Smarter Driving Tour. For comparison’s sake, the EPA rates the car at 42 mpg highway. When we drove the Eco earlier this year, we got just under half the mileage the Taylors achieved. To be fair, ours had a slushbox and theirs had a stick shift, but the Taylors also squeezed every tank to the last mile, driving between three and five miles an hour under the speed limit. “We’ve noticed many drivers in the States exceed the legal speed limit,” the couple wrote in an e-mail from the road. “In fact, if this could be eradicated the States would save billions of gallons of fuel, having a positive effect on the economy.”

iPhone Used To Consume Less Fuel While Driving

A group of researchers at MIT and Princeton University are testing the best way to try to conserve fuel when you stop a car, for example at traffic lights, and when we leave. The test involves the use of iPhone camera and GPS and a system called SignalGuru. GPS and camera are used to provide information to SignalGuru, which in turn advises the driver when to slow down, stop at what point and how to share this information with the car, thus saving fuel. The system was tested in the United States and Singapore, giving excellent results. Fuel economy provided by this system is in fact up to 20%. We’ll see if this system will ever be marketed in a way that allows everyone to benefit.

Laser–Machine Gun Mashup Tested on Pirate Ships

Now we know what the Navy plans to do with its experimental hybrid of laser cannon and machine gun: zap pirate ships. Two defense giants, Boeing and BAE Systems, announced late last month that they would team up on a $2.8 million Navy contract for a prototype version of BAE’s Mk-38 25-mm machine gun with a little upgrade: a death ray. As the companies excitedly explained, the new gun would protect surface ships from pretty much everything, from enemy boats to small drones. What the companies weren’t letting on was that they had already tested the machine-laser-gun a month before the announcement. And in tests that BAE — hardly an uninterested party — claims were successful, the new Mk-38 took on its most likely adversary: pirate skiffs.
