Tinsley Mortimer’s Socialite Bikini PicturesApparently this Tinsley Mortimer chick is some sort of socialite or something, I have no idea and I don’t really care to be quite honest, but she’s in Miami hanging out on the beach in her sexy little bikini so I thought I should at least post a few shots of her. Why the f@#k not right? She’s got a great little body on her and I can’t be bothered to look for anything else to put up on this crappy site so Tinsley Mortimer it is. |
Most Poisonous Snakes on EarthGiven the way they slither along the ground – silent predators seeking out their prey – snakes are creepy enough under the best of circumstances. Their unblinking stare sets many people’s nerves jangling, and that's without even considering how dangerous they can be. While some snakes may be harmless, here we take a look at the snakes we really do have reason to be frightened of due to their highly toxic venom. |
Maria Fowler in a Bikini Gets the Champagne TreatmentMaria Fowler has a full figure. That’s the story here, not the champagne shower she gets or the chick who approaches her wearing the same exact swimsuit. Those are “cute” stories, but we’re posting this simply because she looks smoking hot. Although it is pretty hilarious that some chick approached her wearing the same swimsuit. It’s like, what can you say? She’s Maria Fowler and looks 100 times better than you do! We’ve got a bit of a thing for Maria Fowler, even though we know she really doesn’t do much as a reality TV star. But, c’mon, take a look! |
The Early Years of Motocross MuseumIf you're a fan of vintage dirt bikes, the Early Years of Motocross Museum is Heaven on earth. The purpose-built 5,500 square foot building houses more than 100 rare machines in Tom White's collection. The museum has bikes spanning five decades, but primarily focuses on the late 60's and early 70's. This is the period before the Japanese began to dominate so there is a large and eclectic mix of companies turning out unique machines. |

Documenting a Collapsing Ice ShelfOne of the more dramatic events in the Arctic in recent years was the detachment, in 2010, of a large section of the ice shelf attached to Petermann Glacier, in northwest Greenland. A chunk of ice measuring 100 square miles, about four times the size of Manhattan, broke loose and floated away. The possible connection of this event to global warming drew immediate interest, including a hearing in Congress. Now a scientist who does extensive work in the Arctic, Jason E. Box of Ohio State University, is posting before-and-after images that give a better sense of the scale of the breakup. Above, we reproduce two shots looking up the fjord toward the front of the ice shelf, one taken in 2009 before the breakup, and another taken just over a month ago. Scale is always hard to judge in the treeless landscape of Greenland, but in these pictures it is enormous: The cliff walls visible in the photograph are roughly 3,000 feet high, or about three times as high as the Eiffel Tower. The glacial channel at this point is about 10 miles wide. |
Indigen Armor Introduces the NSTT Battle Ready Pickup TruckLooking like a militarized TORC off-road racer, Indigen Armor's Non-Standard Tactical Truck is the crew-cab pickup truck you've been looking for if you're a member of a special-ops team hunting bad guys halfway around the world or fighting zombies in L.A. after the apocalypse. According to a press release, the four-door NSTT is "designed to afford soldiers greater mobility in urban, desert, woodland, jungle, mountainous, and arctic terrain. The chassis, suspension, power train and armored occupant safety cell were engineered specifically to carry large payloads across rough landscapes in denied areas." The NSTT's sheet metal appears to combine bits from Nissan's Titan and Frontier pickups and an old Toyota Hilux, but its skin and windows are tough enough to repel bullets from an AK-47 assault rifle (and, we're assuming, the teeth and nails of the undead). |
Outboard Engine Drink Blender Runs on GasolineThis has to be one of the most unusual household appliances I’ve ever seen. What you’re looking at here is an old Johnson outboard motorboat engine, converted into a blender. Why? Because nobody had done it before, I guess. According to the description of this thing, this 1958 Johnson Sea Horse 18 outboard motor has had its guts replaced with a small Homelite 2-cycle motor, which powers the blender that’s been built into the top. All in all, it took the guy who made it 6 months to engineer and build this gas-powered blending beast. |
