CELEBRITIES & MODELS PHOTOGRAPHY & EYE CANDY

Katie Aselton on the Red Carpet

Katie Aselton, better known for her role as playing Jenny on the show The League, is one of the hottest chicks on TV. Hands down. Any chick who can pretend to be into fantasy football on TV gets an extra nod in our book. Here are some photos of Katie from the premiere screening of Season 2 of The League and Season 6 of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, in Hollywood. We’re pretty excited about both shows returning! So, couple that excitement with the chance to see some Katie Aselton action and we’re instantly put into a feel good mood!

How to Run With Wolves

Wild wolves are extremely hard to get close to, and it’s not sensible to try! They are top predators, the largest of the wild dog family living in complex social groups, in remote inhospitable places. They are incredibly hard to see and track in the wild, travelling over huge distances and running at speeds of over 30mph in pursuit of prey. They are ferocious hunters tackling prey many times their own size like elk, bison and musk ox. Wild wolves are not to be messed with. But on Deadly 60 Steve wanted a close encounter with this apex predator. So we found a place where a “socialised” group of grey wolves were kept. This doesn’t mean the wolves are tame, but they are accustomed to humans. The team travelled to the most northern animal park in the world, a place called Polar Zoo. Located in the Salangsdalen valley, Norway, the park is home to the Salangen wolf pack which is the first wolf pack in Norway that is socialized to people. In order to stay safe the team enlisted the help of expert Tess Erngren, a dog psychologist who has interacted with this pack since they were young.

Zahia Dehar Brings Her Scandalous Boobtastic Back to America

Oh, how we love our new French hottie friend, Zahia Dehar, the now nineteen-year old, former seventeen-year old underaged Parisian call girl caught up in the Euro-soccer star scandal has been making her mark recently on U.S. soil with some various music and modeling ventures, all of which we hope is leading up to a very fun project soon with Egotastic!, because, by the looks of her sweet hot blossoming body, the time is nigh, as in now, as in, right now.

Eciton Hamatum, Orange Scourge Of The Social Insects

Meet Eciton hamatum. This is a delightfully orange-colored army ant from Neotropical rain forests, big and charismatic, like the iconic E. burchellii. But- and here’s a secret trick of the wiley nature photographer- it is a much friendlier insect. If you’ve got an assignment to shoot army ants and your editor neglects to specify the species, I’d hold out for these guys. You won’t get swarmed over, gored, bitten, stung up, or otherwise assaulted anywhere near the amount you suffer by approaching the vicious E. burchellii.

Audi A5 DTM

On the eve of the 2011 International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt Audi presented the new Audi A5 DTM: After the V8 quattro (1990 to 1992) and the A4 (2004 to 2011) the brand with the four rings has opted to use a two-door coupe in the most popular international touring car series for the first time. The new Audi A5 DTM, which bears the internal project name "R17" at Audi Sport, conforms to the new Technical Regulations that will come into effect in the 2012 season. The project was premised on three key aims: the safety of the vehicles, reduction of the costs by up to 40 percent and a spectacular exterior design. 2011 IAA visitors will have the opportunity to get a first-hand impression of the new car's look at the Audi Hall from September 13th to 25th, 2011. The Audi A5 DTM appears lower and sturdier than its successful predecessor with which Audi has won four of the last seven DTM titles. Underneath the body, which is completely made of carbon, a new type of chassis features a hybrid construction. The combination of a carbon fiber monocoque and steel cage sets new standards in terms of safety for a race touring car. In addition, the chassis is one of more than 50 components which are identical for all DTM vehicles.

Airships Could Prove a Lifeline in the Arctic

Airships may soon soar in the cold skies of northern Canada and Alaska, bringing supplies to remote mining communities where planes can’t always fly and roads are cost-prohibitive. British airship manufacturer Hybrid Air Vehicles has announced a major contract with Canada’s Discovery Air Innovations to build airships capable of lifting as much as 50 tons, delivering freight at one-quarter the cost of other alternatives. Though various militaries have expressed interest in airships, this is HAV’s first commercial contract. The first ship is expected by 2014. While the word “airship” may conjure images of prewar zeppelins and Goodyear advertisements, the aircraft are quite useful for carrying cargo to remote locations, because they have greater payload flexibility than airplanes or trucks. They’re often cheaper to operate, too.

Croatian Supercar Is Electric for a Reason

We were impressed when Mate Rimac stuffed a massively powerful electric powertrain in an ‘86 BMW 3-series, giving it 900 horsepower and a 0-60 time of 3.3 seconds. Well, he’s outdone himself this time. Working with a group of 20 engineers outside of Zagreb, Croatia, Rimac put together an all-new, all-electric supercar called the Concept One. With 1,088 horsepower, it can reach 62 mph from standstill in 2.8 seconds and just keeps going up until 190 mph. Range is around 370 miles. The body is made of carbon-fiber, and the interior is designed by a team formerly with Pininfarina. Sure, that’s impressive, but we’re most intrigued by the drivetrain. Like many high-end EVs such as the Jaguar C-X75 concept, each wheel is powered by a separate electric motor, independently controlled by its own inverter and reduction gearbox. Rimac calls it All Wheel Torque Vectoring, and the setup offers unparalleled vehicle dynamics at the limits and while accelerating out of corners.

Creepy iPhone Cases That Look Like Somebody Else's Ear When Making A Call

Listen: I hate my ears as much as the next person with grotesquely oversized lobes, but do see me designing $20 iPhone cases that make it look like I'm rocking different ears? No, you don't. But mostly because you can't actually see me at all, and you should be thankful for that because this face could break mirrors. AND hearts. Well, two anyways. Back me up, Quasimodo. "YERYERYERYER!" Sloth? "HEY YOU GUUUUUUUUUYS!" God I should just join a dating site. Hit the jump for several more shots of the OMG, I'm totally gonna make myself a SARS mask that looks like I've got a bone through my nose!
