Anne Hathaway Gets Leggy On Kimmel

Here’s Anne Hathaway looking red hot and getting seriously leggy on last night’s edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live. Now the last time we saw Hathaway I was utterly shocked that her plentiful breasts were nowhere to be found, which is the case here as well, but thankfully we get to gawk at her distractingly killer pair legs. Hell, this is so much of a shwingtastic legfest that I wouldn’t even care if she were topless. Ok, that’s a straight out lie, but hot damn does she have great legs. Enjoy the screen caps and check out the video to see everything in motion.

War

War is a behavior pattern exhibited by many primate species including man, and also found in many ant species. The primary feature of this behavior pattern is a certain state of organized violent conflict that is engaged in between two or more separate social entities. Such a conflict is always an attempt at altering either the psychological hierarchy or the material hierarchy of domination or equality between two or more groups. In all cases, at least one participant (group) in the conflict perceives the need to either psychologically or materially dominate the other participant.

Breathtaking Underwater Photography

Humanity knows almost as little about the depths of the oceans as the depths of outer space. Earth’s oceans have fascinated humanity for millenia, resulting in a variety of myths from the Earth being flat with the oceans simply pouring off into space, the kraken and mermaids. Beyond the myths, however, lies an incredible variety of life and color. Today we’ll take a closer look on what we can find under the clear blue waters of the oceans. And here’re some breathtaking underwater photos, captured by talented photographers. From Clownfish that look surprisingly like Nemo (see the picture above), to jellyfish, sharks and crabs, you’ll get a glimpse of some of the life that thrives just beneath the surface.

Lamborghini Gallardo 570-4 Superleggera Officially Released

Details and pictures of the new Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera have been released. The "superlight" Gallardo has made extensive use of carbon fibre to shed even more weight than the LP 560-4 on which it is based. Seventy kilograms (154 lbs) has been slashed from the normal car, making the LP 570-4 Superleggera Lamborghini's lightest road-going car. Power is sourced from a 5.2-litre V10 with an aluminium crankcase and dry sump lubrication. It makes 419kW (570 PS / 562 hp) at 8,000rpm, giving the car an 80.5 kW (109 PS / 108 hp) per litre specific power output. Maximum torque is 540 Nm (398 ft-lbs) at 6,500rpm. Lamborghini is fitting the 6-speed e-gear as standard but can offer customers a no-cost manual as an option. The sprint times are 0 - 100km/h in 3.4 seconds and 0 - 200km/h (124 mph) in 10.2 seconds. Top velocity is 325km/h (202 mph). In addition, fuel consumption and C02 emissions have been cut by 20.5% when compared to the previous car.

World's Biggest Tsunami

On the night of July 9, 1958 an earthquake along the Fairweather Fault in the Alaska Panhandle loosened about 40 million cubic yards (30.6 million cubic meters) of rock high above the northeastern shore of Lituya Bay. This mass of rock plunged from an altitude of approximately 3000 feet (914 meters) down into the waters of Gilbert Inlet (see map below). The impact generated a local tsunami that crashed against the southwest shoreline of Gilbert Inlet. The wave hit with such power that it swept completely over the spur of land that separates Gilbert Inlet from the main body of Lituya Bay. The wave then contiuned down the entire length of Lituya Bay, over La Chaussee Spit and into the Gulf of Alaska. The force of the wave removed all trees and vegetation from elevations as high as 1720 feet (524 meters) above sea level. Millions of trees were uprooted and swept away by the wave. This is the highest wave that has ever been known.

Honda 3R-C Concept To Provide Zero Emission Commuting

Geneva motor show is an arena that every automaker intends to rule, and therefore comes to this grand show with anything and everything unique. Honda is always at the helm of the affairs. And this time, the company is to debut a revolutionary 3R-C concept, intended to tackle the problem of personal urban mobility. This three wheeled single-seater concept is powered by a lithium ion battery mounted low in the chassis therefore keeping the center of gravity low and thus improving stability. The concept also features a retractable canopy that has duel function: provides security when the vehicle is parked and when in motion it works as a windshield. Developed at Honda’s Research and Design center in Milan, the concept even features a lockable cargo space in the area ahead of the driver and the high sides of the vehicle that give the occupant a greater safety.

Why Do Ducks Have Orange Feet?

Actually, many species of ducks have feet—and legs!—tinted a bluish green or gray. But for the ducks that do have orange feet, well, it’s all about attracting the ladies. Chicks dig orange. Kevin Omland is an evolutionary biologist at the University of Maryland at Baltimore County, and he knows as much about mallard-duck coloring patterns as anyone; it was his graduate thesis. “I looked at male mallards and thought, gosh, they exhibit so many wonderful colors, I wonder which ones females care about,” he says. Do lady ducks lust after the males’ green head plumage? Or maybe it’s the blue patches on the males’ wings? Then again, what female duck can resist a nicely proportioned set of white “neck tie” feathers? After four years of documenting mallard courtships, Omland found that none of those mattered. All they cared about was the brightness of the guy’s yellow-orange bill.
