CELEBRITIES & MODELS PHOTOGRAPHY & EYE CANDY

Michelle Bombshell Is Angry

Although she took Jesse James' load in an effort to get fame and money, she won't tolerate you talking shit about her. She says on her FB: "For all you internet warriors on here talking shit...it's easy to place judgement when your sitting behind a keyboard. Get off your God dam high horse, your shit don't smell like roses either. Let him who is without sin cast the first stone...in other words FUCK YOU!" Wow, I am sitting behind a keyboard, and you're right, it is pretty easy to pass judgment. If this was Nuremberg, I'd be fitting you with a blindfold right about now.

Robots, Part III

Robots continue to grow in their importance amongst law enforcement, military use, medical research and care, space exploration and entertainment, among other tasks. Robots recently in the news include Russia's decades-old Lunokhod rovers - recently photographed from Lunar orbit, the naming of "Curiosity", NASA's next Mars rover, and a robotic dental patient, designed for realistic training. Collected here are a handful of relatively recent photographs of robots around the world - and the solar system.

Stephanie Seymour - See Thru Bikini In St. Barthelemy

Stephanie M. Seymour is an American model and actress. Seymour has modeled for many notable fashion magazines and designers, and has been photographed by several well-known photographers including Herb Ritts, Richard Avedon, Gilles Bensimon and most recently, Mario Testino. She has appeared on over 300 magazine covers. By mid 1991, she became involved with Axl Rose, the lead singer of Guns N' Roses. She appeared in two music videos by Guns N' Roses: "Don't Cry" and "November Rain". The couple broke up in February 1993 after Rose accused Seymour of being unfaithful. The spokesman of actor Charlie Sheen confirmed rumors of a romance between Seymour and his client.

On the Fence

In Campo, Calif., a fence stretches along a desolate area of the U.S.-Mexico border. The federal government wants to install radar, sensors and cameras, but the plan is beset by delays. Campo agents were supposed to be hooked up to the virtual fence in early 2009. Frustrated by the delays, citizens — calling themselves minutemen — took up the job. They installed 20 cameras, encased in PVC pipe for protection, on a private ranch; they wired them to solar panels and a transmitter that broadcasts the captured images on the Internet. So far, they’ve spent $40,000 to cover a one-mile strip and fortify fence ranches.

PLANES, TRAINS & AUTOMOBILES TECHNOLOGY & OTHER NEAT STUFF

Requiem for Misterl: The 1959 Cadillac and the Winter of Harley Earl

Even if you know nothing about cars, and your only exposure to American automobiles is TV and movies, you probably recognize this shape. It's been featured on everything from T-shirts to postage stamps, a quintessential icon of Fifties Americana in all its grandeur and absurdity. It is, of course, the 1959 Cadillac. The '59 Cadillac emerged from a seismic shift at General Motors, and it marked the transition between two very different eras in automotive design. This is its story, and the story of the people who brought it to life.

Ron Howard Was Wrong: Apollo 13 Would Have Burned, Not Frozen

The Apollo 13 module, had it not been for NASA’s heroic efforts to get it back on course, would have missed Earth and tumbled into the depths of cold, lonely space. At least that’s been the story repeated in popular, academic, and cinematic accounts of the ill-fated mission, like Ron Howard’s Apollo 13. Now, space writer Andrew Chaikin and a team of modelers at Analytical Graphics have stumbled upon a surprise: The official story isn’t true. Instead of drifting into a nearly eternal orbit around Earth, the ship would have swung out past the moon, been pushed by its gravitational field, and been sent hurtling back toward Earth on a collision path, as described in the video above. In any case, the crew would not have survived. They’d have frozen first, then burned up on re-entry.

Supercar Crash Repair Bill May Hit £300K

One of the highest ever car insurance payouts in UK history is set to be made after a £528,000 supercar crashed during a test drive in Scotland. The Pagani Zonda S, which can reach speeds of 220mph, spun out of control on a narrow country road and hit a telephone pole before smashing through a fence. The car has now been sent for repairs in Modena, Italy, where the vehicles are made. The final bill could be over £300,000, according to a spokesman from Aviva insurance. "This is the biggest insurance payout we have had for repairs to a private car in the UK. This is out of the ordinary for an insurer," the spokesman said.
