CELEBRITIES & MODELS PHOTOGRAPHY & EYE CANDY

The Ultimate Archive: Amanda Seyfried’s Hottest Pics

Amanda Seyfried is creeping on the come-up. She’s spent the last few years making out with Megan Fox in Jennifer’s Body, feeling her boobs to predict the weather in Mean Girls, and starring in box office smashes like 2008’s Mamma Mia! (Laugh all you want, that shit made Avatar money). Needless to say, we’re had our eye on Ms. Seyfried for a minute now. Her latest film, Chloe, is debuting today. In the film she plays the title character, a female escort who doesn’t have a heart of gold that gets hired by Complex’s Wifey Hall of Fame Julianne Moore to seduce her husband. That’s a win on premise alone. But what’s a bigger win is this 30+ page gallery of Seyfried’s hottest pics.

Earth Hour 2010

Beginning in Sydney, Australia three years ago, Earth Hour has grown into a global observance. States, large organizations and individual people observed Earth Hour 2010 on Saturday March 27th, as homes, office towers and landmarks turned off their lights for an hour starting at 8.30 pm local time to raise awareness about climate change and the threat from rising greenhouse gas emissions. Collected here are a series of before-and-after photographs from this year - which (starting with the second one below) will fade between "on" and "off" when clicked.

Mila Kunis Drops Some Impressive Cleavage

I’m told these are old pictures of Mila Kunis flashing her boobs on the set of some movies, but they’re pictures of Mila Kunis flashing her boobs on the set of some movie so I’m interested. Besides, you can never have too many celebrity downblouse pictures in my opinion. I never realized her boobs were so nice, I’m impressed. Keep up the good work.

Breathtaking and Incredible Volcano Photographs

Volcanoes are one of the most destructive, beautiful and awe-inspiring natural events that occur on Earth. A volcano is a rupture in the Earth’s crust, where the subsurface pressure causes magma, ash and gas to escape. Eruptions are generally defined as red or gray, where red eruptions feature lava freely flowing from a volcano, while gray eruptions feature exploding rock, ash and gas being propelled into the sky. Capturing photographs of erupting volcanoes is incredibly dangerous, particularly in gray eruptions where pyroclastic flows can travel several hundred miles per hour. Volcanic eruptions are relatively frequent, with red eruptions in the Hawaiian islands occurring constantly. Gray eruptions are rarer, but tend to be far more devastating to life on this planet. The supervolcanic eruption at Lake Toba, between 69,000 and 77,000 years ago, resulted in the reduction of the human population to possibly only several thousand breeding pairs.

BMW Z4 GT3

The BMW Z4 GT3, which was officially launched and completed its first test drives at the start of March, is already enjoying great popularity among BMW Motorsport customers. The first cars have been delivered to private BMW teams, who will prepare them for use in various national and international championships. "The feedback on the BMW Z4 GT3 is extremely positive," says BMW Motorsport Director Mario Theissen. "This sports car rounds off our product range, and offers drivers and teams the opportunity to compete in championships in accordance with the GT3 regulations - such as the FIA GT3 European Championship, the International GT Open or the ADAC GT Masters - as well as at 24-hour endurance races."

March 30, 1848: Niagara Falls Runs Dry

The falls were already a tourist attraction by 1848, and villages had grown up on both the U.S. and Canadian sides of the river to accommodate the sightseeing throngs. Residents also built waterwheels to harness the Niagara River’s power to run mills and drive machinery in factories. An American farmer out for a stroll shortly before midnight on March 29 was the first to notice something. Actually, he noticed the absence of something: the thundering roar of the falls. When he went to the river’s edge, he saw hardly any water. Came the dawn of March 30, people awoke to an unaccustomed silence. The mighty Niagara was a mere trickle. Mills and factories had to shut down, because the waterwheels had stopped. The bed of the river was exposed. Fish died. Turtles floundered about. Brave — or foolish — people walked on the river bottom, picking up exposed guns, bayonets and tomahawks as souvenirs.

John DeLorean and the Pontiac Firebird

Designing, building, and marketing new cars is expensive, even for the largest automakers. If they're strapped for cash (e.g., BMC in the fifties and sixties) or overcome by hubris (e.g., General Motors), it's tempting to share platforms between models, or even slap some new and a new badge on an existing model and passing it off as a new product for a different division -- a technique called badge engineering. As confusing and potentially alienating badge engineering can be for consumers, imagine how the people at their divisions feel when they're handed an existing product and told to make something new and different out of it. Such was the case with Pontiac's "pony car," the Pontiac Firebird.

Sony Kills Linux on PS3

Sony is to remove the option for PlayStation 3 owners to install their own choice of operating system. The feature had already been cut from the new “slim” model but will be removed from older machines as well on Thursday when a new firmware update is released. At first glance, it might seem baffling that anyone would want to install Linux on a games console. However, doing so not only meant effectively accessing computer features at a comparatively low price, but it allowed people to make use of a 128-bit processor with six usable cores, which is a set-up you aren’t going to find on a home PC.
