Megan Fox Bikini Photos & In Talks For Pirates 4?

I guess Megan Fox got sick of the whole Transformers 3 drama because in the midst of all the rumors and stuff she decided to go on vacation to Maui, Hawaii, giving us these bikini photos. These photos make me realize just how lucky Brian Austin Green is because her bikini body is incredible. In other rumors she is apparently in talks to take on a lead role in The Pirates Of Caribbean 4. A source said “Megan is mulling over a number of big movie offers including another sci fi franchise and a role in the next Pirates of the Caribbean, She would play a mermaid who charms Captain Jack but she has a dark motive. Megan has always loved Johnny and is desperate to work with him.”

Miranda Kerr Is Ridiculously Sexy, This Time in Elle Magazine

After recently posting Miranda Kerr topless pictures and Miranda Kerr nude pictures, I had pledged not to post any more Miranda Kerr pictures for a little while, despite her being, you know, possibly the hottest woman on the face of this spinning blue planet. But then I received a desperate letter from a reputable barrister in Nigeria telling me that I had inherited $20 million and all I needed to do, kind sir in blessed tidings, was to post more Miranda Kerr. My lucky day! And yours, because you get more sexy-as-hell, Miranda Kerr, doing what she does best. Enjoy.

There Is No Spork

Spanish photographer Chema Madoz doesn't like digital photography, but he loves to warp reality in impossible ways. Like this spoon with a fork shadow, which is a straight photo, with no Photoshop or laboratory manipulation whatsoever. Madoz's world ties directly into the work of surrealist artists like Dalí and Duchamp. He doesn't like digital photography because, as he says, he needs to manipulate reality directly, not through Photoshop. He first creates his strange objects. Then, he just photographs them using film, in the most simplistic and clean way possible. The result are windows into alternative dimensions that often carry a message and they are always beautiful.

Globe journalist’s son crashes $180,000 Porsche

Some moments are lived backwards. The great ones run through your mind like a favourite movie. Then there are the other kind, where you try to roll back the clock – like the afternoon my teenage son launched a brand new Porsche Turbo through our garage door. So far, I have not managed to invent a time machine, go back, and snatch the key from his hands (and in case you were wondering, the car goes for $180,000, not including freight, tax or a new garage). That day began with deceptive perfection. I woke up in a sunlit bedroom next to my beautiful wife. We had celebrated 26 years of marriage just the day before. Our cherry tree was in full blossom, and in the garage, locked away like a crown jewel, was a 2010 Porsche 997 Turbo, the latest (and costliest) in a long series of test cars.

Mr. Average: The 1967 Chevrolet Impala

If any car deserves to be called the archetypal sixties American automobile, it's the Chevrolet Impala. In 1965, the peak of its popularity, one in every nine new cars sold in the United States was an Impala. If we add the sales of the mechanically identical Biscayne and Bel Air models, full-size Chevrolets accounted for more than 15% of the U.S. market. By comparison, the best-selling car in the U.S. in 2008, the Toyota Camry, accounted for only about 3%. In today's fragmentary market, the sheer ubiquity the big Chevys once enjoyed is difficult to grasp. Let's take a closer look at this most average of average American cars.

May 27, 1931: Wind Tunnel Lets Airplanes ‘Fly’ on Ground

The world’s first full-scale wind tunnel opens at Langley Field near Hampton, Virginia. With a test area 60 feet wide and 30 feet high, aerodynamic testing is performed on everything from World War II fighters and space capsules to submarines and modern jets. Since the beginning of powered flight, wind tunnels have proven to be a critical part of the aerodynamic research needed to develop new aircraft. The Wright Brothers themselves built a small, 6-foot-long wind tunnel to test scale models of wing sections before their historic first flight in 1903. But the limitations of using models were recognized early in aircraft design, and there was a desire to be able to test full-size structures and airplanes. Early in 1930 on a swampy corner of Langley Field in southern Virginia, construction began on a new wind tunnel that would allow engineers to examine actual airplanes in flight, without having to leave the ground.
