How To Murder Out Your Ride For Just $120 - In Your Garage
Let's say you want to go all Mad Max on your BMW 330i, but aren't quite ready to give your shiny paint that Krylon finish. No worries. As user djaemac over on E90 Post found out, wrapping your car in vinyl isn't as hard as the pros make it out to be. Over a week's worth of evenings, the guy set about covering his entire car in matte black vinyl using nothing but some application fluid, a felt squeegee, a heat gun, an X-Acto knife and a heaping helping of patience. The results look just as good as any of the pro wraps we've seen. The best part is that djaemac managed to do the whole thing for a mere $120. Considering the thousands of dollars a shop will charge you for the same work, that's not a bad deal. While we aren't likely to go flat black on any of our personal cars, the writeup makes the thought of covering our front bumpers in clear protective vinyl all that more tempting.

This Cave House Was Built By A Cow. Seriously.
Antón García-Abril's Trufa house in Costa da Morte, Spain was built by pouring concrete over bales of hay and then letting Paulina - a hungry cow - carve out the living space. García-Abril of Ensamble Estudio built the Trufa (a.k.a "the truffle") by stacking bales of hay, dousing them in concrete, and burying them underground to give the building an organic, cave-like shape. Witness the process in fast-forward below. After the Trufa was cracked open, Paulina the cow ate the remaining hay buried inside, effectively carving out a living space over the course of a year, thus rendering her the most adorable architect on the planet.

Website Lets Car Buyers Pitch Their Price
If you’ve ever searched for a car online, you know the drill: enter the make and model and sift through the results looking for something in your price range. A new website called Autopitch flips that equation around so buyers can tell sellers what they’re looking for and what they’re willing to pay. You can avoid the annoying haggling and that bogus, “I’ve got to ask the manager” line salesmen often give you at the dealership. And it gives the seller a more realistic idea what someone is willing to pay for his ‘92 Lumina. “Not only does it save the consumer time, it also creates ideal conditions for true market value,” says Autopitch founder Brad Chase. Here’s how it works...

Looking Back at the Space Station From Earth
The newly installed cupola on the International Space Station provides the astronauts with a window onto the Earth below them. Now, Ralf Vandebergh has captured an image of that space station component from his backyard telescope. The new viewing station was launched in February on space shuttle mission STS-130 and attached to the Tranquility module. Vandebergh manually tracks the ISS with his telescope and camera setup, and it takes a fortuitous set of circumstances to capture a great image. “The best results occur mostly as a surprise when lighting angle, viewing angle, seeing, distance and other factors of the objects are favorable,” Vandebergh explains on his website.
