Stacy Keibler Presents The Hollywood Charlie Media WatchShe's the sensationally leggy breakthrough hot stepper from "Dancing With The Stars," a former WWE Diva with no doctor-added flavoring up top; an ex-Baltimore Ravens cheerleader who had no scandal to speak of and would be the last person on a list of Hollywood POPWRECKS. As our own Hustler De Tuti Hustlers Paul Heyman said over the weekend, "STACY KEIBLER has survived NFL football, the world of professional wrestling at a high level ... Nitro Girl to featured WCW star to featured WWE Diva ... the world of reality television ... Hello Jon and Kate and Dog and Hulk and all the reality show trainwreck... to the simple world of Hollywood. And she's done it without incident. Who else can say that?" |
The Paradise on Earth: Bora BoraBora Bora is an island in the Leeward group of the Society Islands of French Polynesia, an overseas collectivity of France in the Pacific Ocean. The island, located about 230 kilometres (140 mi) northwest of Papeete, is surrounded by a lagoon and a barrier reef. In the center of the island are the remnants of an extinct volcano rising to two peaks, Mount Pahia and Mount Otemanu, the highest point at 727 metres (2,385 ft). The original name of the island in the Tahitian language might be better rendered as Pora Pora, meaning “First Born”; an early transcription found in 18th- and 19th century accounts, is Bolabolla (or “Bollabolla”). |

Diver Vs Man-Eating ClamWhen the American Wilburn Cobb gave an account of the discovery of the Pearl of Lao Tzu – the world's largest pearl – he told tale of a Dyak diver who was drowned when the Giant Clam from which the gemstone was prized closed its shell on the tribesman's arm. What's more, National Geographic suggests this is not the only legend of South Pacific origin to portray these bottom-dwelling behemoths lying in wait to trap unsuspecting swimmers or swallow divers whole. Perhaps on this basis of such stories, even reputable scientific handbooks once claimed the Giant Clam had been the cause of fatalities. The US Navy Diving Manual gave explicit instructions on how to free oneself from the potentially lethal grasp of this heaviest and most massive of shellfish, the trick being to sever the adductor muscle – considered an aphrodisiac in China – with which the clam shuts itself. With such claims so well established, the question is whether there is a kernel of truth encapsulated within them. |

Atari Arcade Pint 4-PackClose your eyes and think about the local arcade you frequented as a kid. If it was anything like ours, the downstairs was full of kiddie games, the ball pit, the ski ball lanes, and that unlucky guy in the fursuit who you kicked on your way to the concession stand. (If you were the guy in the fursuit, we're sorry. But you gotta admit, you were asking for it.) Upstairs, far away from the eyes and ears of the wee kiddies, that was where the real action was. That's where the real games were. It was dark and dank and smelled like a bouquet of Coca-Cola, popcorn, and preteen B.O. Your feet stuck to the floor and your pockets jingled with a dozen quarters. Those were the days! Relive the best days of your life, the days when pure joy was just a high score away and you could save the world for a mere twenty-five cents. This set of four pint glasses features artwork from four classic Atari games: Asteroids, Centipede, Tempest, and Missile Command. Drink your orange juice at breakfast with Asteroids, enjoy a cold refreshing soda at lunch with Centipede, and then throw back a couple brews with your Player 2 in the evening with Tempest and Missile Command. It may not be the old days, but life is still pretty damn good. |
