CELEBRITIES & MODELS PHOTOGRAPHY & EYE CANDY

Kelly Brook Is Still In A Bikini

Yesterday we found out that SuperWAG Kelly Brook is in Barbados vacationing properly in her bikini. Today we find out that she owns at least two more bikinis. Today is a good day. I see by the photos that Kelly is also up for a little jet ski action and seeing how she likes watercraft leads me to the obvious question of whether she also enjoys a little motorboat action? Lord knows she’s got the proper gear for such an adventure.

The World’s Most Spectacular Roads

For those who consider the journey to be as important as the destination, road trips have long provided amazing views and a sense of adventure. Below are some of the world’s most spectacular roads. Fair warning to viewers: these images are shockingly attractive and have been known to induce wanderlust in those who gaze upon them.

Adrianne Curry Shows Us Her Soapy Self

Either this is the most superb piece of product placement in the history of men and Pert shampoo- or we just got a real glimpse of Adrianne Curry’s physically perfect and timelessly beautiful lady junk. Most often, when stars condescend to show off their genitalia in clever and creative ways, they’re trying to save their slow and shameful descent into being a nobody. But not Adrienne. She knows full well that men still flog themselves daily to her slutty face. So bravo, Adrienne, on staying ahead of the curve.

The Moment Diver Comes Face To Face With Killer Shark

Like a rabbit in the headlights, this brave scuba diver faces off against one of the most feared and endangered predators of the deep. With its notably long pectoral fins enabling it to glide like a bird through the water, a 10ft-long, 350lb female Oceanic White Tip shark was photographed by Brian Skerry off the Out Islands in the Bahamas. Swimming inches past Mr Skerry's long-time collaborator Wes Pratt, the large shark observed the pair for two hours. Patiently waiting for days to find one specimen, Mr Skerry counted himself lucky, as recent surveys have estimated that the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean population of the white tip to have fallen by 98 per cent since the 1950s. 'The Oceanic White Tip is considered one of the most dangerous sharks in the sea along with the Great White and Tiger,' said Mr Skerry, 48, who has been an underwater photographer for 30 years. 'It is responsible for some of the most famous episodes of man-eating in history, such as when the USS Indianapolis sank in 1945. 'Around 800 sailors escaped into the water when it was torpedoed by a Japanese submarine, but only 321 were pulled from the sea alive. 'Most of the deaths in the water were from dehydration and heat exposure, but a significant number were attacked by Oceanic White Tips.'

The Curious Story of Packard's Twin Six and Twelve

In January 1930, Cadillac introduced its mighty Sixteen, a bold and extravagant bid for supremacy in the luxury car field. Naturally, the Packard Motor Car Company, the reigning champion of the American luxury market, was not about to take that lying down, and launched its own 12-cylinder Twin Six in 1932. It would be easy to assume the Twin Six was a hastily contrived response to the multicylinder Cadillacs, but that's only half true. The latter-day Twin Six was conceived for quite a different purpose, and therein hangs a tale. This week, we look at the curious history of Packard's legendary V-12 cars, with sideways glances at Cord and...the Indianapolis 500?

Use Googles Open Spot Android App To Find Parking Spots

Google's new Open Spot Android app turns finding open parking spots into a social game. You earn "karma points" for marking down available parking spots while others earn open parking spots by tracking down those marked spots. Each time you mark down an available parking spot in Open Spot, you gain a karma point. The more karma points you get, the better you feel about yourself, or something like that. The marked spot shows up in the Open Spot app for 20 minutes and is shown in a time-sensitive color: red for freshly marked, orange for spots marked 5 minutes ago and yellow for spots marked 10 minutes ago. Parking spot applications have been done before, but not with the big G attached. But even with Google, Open Space's success hinges on getting enough users in the game.

Renault DeZir Concept

Renault has provided a preview glimpse of its new Renault DeZir concept car ahead of the 2010 Paris Motor Show. Renault DeZir stands out as an illustration of the brand's commitment to more emotional styling. Renault DeZir's sensuous lines and bright red finish express passion. Powered by an electric motor, DeZir is proof that environmental concern and a love for cars are by no means incompatible. The Renault DeZir project is the first to have been led by Laurens van den Acker and marks the start of a sequence of concept cars that will provide an insight into Renault Design's new vision for the future. It also lays the foundations for the styling cues of Renault's forthcoming vehicles. The public will get its first opportunity to see Renault DeZir at the 2010 Paris Motor Show.

Dummies Go to the Smithsonian

Washington's Smithsonian National Museum of American History has acquired the costumes and assorted body parts of the dummies Vince and Larry that were used as part of the road-safety TV campaign through the 1980s and 1990s. The ad's tagline was "You could learn a lot from a dummy." "Millions of lives have been saved on America's roadways thanks to the combined efforts of lawmakers, automakers, engineers and safety advocates," museum director Brent D. Glass said in a statement. "This research collection offers a tangible record of these efforts." Other artifacts in the road-safety exhibit include a three-point seat belt from a 1961 Volvo and road-safety literature from the 1930s. General Motors donated an actual crash test dummy. The Hybrid III dummy spent 15 years taking a beating in the company's testing units, suffering barrier crash tests, sled tests and out-of-position airbag tests.
